A SUMMER DAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

Welcome to a workshop with focus on edible wild herbs and vegetables of the season, local produce and creativity. During the day we will create food photography in an inspiring environment, enjoy the tastes of the seasons and network in creative surroundings.

For who? If you want to develop your food photography, get inspired and create freely during one day or develop the storytelling of your company’s social media feeds, then this workshop is for you.

Where? The workshop is held in the picturesque countryside landscape of Solberg, Inkoo (Finland). The big red house has a history dating back to the early 20th century, and was up until three years ago owned by the local Social Democratic association in Inkoo. Schedule & content

9.30 am Morning coffee and tea, presentation
10 to 10.30 am Lecture about food styling, and photography
10.30 am to 13 pm Workshop (styling, food photography)
13 pm to 14 pm Vegetarian lunch buffé with wild herbs
14 pm to 15 pm We look at everyone’s pictures and work of the day while enjoying dessert, tea, and coffee
15 pm to 16 pm Finnish Tea ceremony in the forest with NORD-T

We reserve the right to minor changes in the schedule.

You will:

  • learn about food photography, food styling, and foraging.

  • participate in workshop about food styling and photography.

  • enjoy lunch at a communal table with wild herbs and vegetables.

  • participate in a Finnish tea ceremony in the forest.

Every participant will get a gift bag with local goods and the recipes of the day.

Who are your inspiring hosts?

Meet Louise Mérus:

Louise Mérus is a chef and food stylist with a long experience in food styling, catering, and lecturing. Inspired by her second home base South Africa Louise customize colorful South African dishes to Finnish conditions, for example in her cookbook Mina smaker från Kapstaden. Meet Karis Lindroos:

Karin Lindroos is a communication professional working with content production focusing on sustainable lifestyle and local food. She has worked as the editor and photographer for several magazines and books on the topic of local food and is passionate about telling the story about the food growing close by. Workshop details

TIME: 9.30 am to 16 pm
LOCATION: Folkets hus, Solberg, Inkoo
WORKSHOP LANGUAGE: Swedish/English
PRICE PER PERSON: 150€ for the day. If the participant is under the age of 12, price per person is 30€. Please contact us (hello@nord-t.com) if you want to join in with your bestie under the age of 12.
PRICE INCLUDES: 1-day-workshop, all food&drinks served during the event plus a wonderful gift bag with local goods and the recipes of the day.


All participants will get the an introduction email closer to event date.


Registration and cancellation policy

Of the full amount of 150 euros, 75 euros is the registration fee. The registration fee is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

In case of too few participants in the workshop we keep the right to cancel the workshop. In case of cancellation, the whole fee will be returned to you.
